Caliber - eBook Library Management Software

Calibre is an open source eBook Library Manager that stores your ebook files in a database along with easily editable metadata describing each book. This library management software provides you library management, format conversion, news feeds to ebook conversion, etc. Apart from this you can also manage your collection, convert between formats, sync devices, download RSS news and even retrieve book covers, ISBN information, and ratings from the internet. It has a built in e-book viewer which can display books in major e-book formats.

Calibre supports a variety of book reader manufactures such as Amazon, Apple, Astak, Barnes, Noble, Bookeen, Ectaco, Endless Ideas, Google/HTC, Jinke, and SONY. It also supports News sites including Newsweek, New York Times, The BBC, and The Economist. The new version fixes various regressions in the calibre windows build caused by the switch to python 2.7.



Calibre runs on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux OS platforms and 59 MB in size. It’s a freeware that you can download from here.
