Auto Update in Windows 7 phone

Another feature in the upcoming Windows 7 Phone auto update is delivered directly from Microsoft. Read more to find out how they process.

Most of you may have wondered about the Windows Update icon in your Pocket PC and also hope to one day update is issued, but was never done in time. Maybe Microsoft just left her there for a fashion icon, and did not really know how to use it. Starting with Windows Phone 7, Microsoft is serious about this update OTA, because everyone and their dog are getting over-the-air updates (ex: Android).

Up until now, was the performer or producer, acting on the components related to the operating system. But now, Microsoft wants to limit the customization as far as possible, and make a bit of news for most embedded applications, games and other small bug fixes via a push notification.

Despite the fact that Microsoft made more than 20MB/OTA update size in order to cut costs and data bandwidth, you'll get updates from the 20 MB is quite sufficient for most areas. If updates are larger than 20 MB, Zune PC will work.

In order to test this new feature of auto update to your Pocket PC, the notice was sent to all the Windows 7 Phone device. The attached screenshot shows us exactly what to expect in terms of modernization. However, this one meant for testing purposes of the new features.
