"Firesheep the Wolve clothes" can hack Twitter & Facebook account

Are you connected to an unsecured Wi-Fi network, at a cafe or somewhere else? If yes, then your social network account is not secure at all. Anyone can gain access to all of your social network login information whenever you are connected with an unsecured Wi-Fi network. Now the sharp hackers are ready to hack your Twitter or Facebook account by using a Firefox extension. Eric Butler developed Firesheep, a new Firefox extension that play all the tricks. Firesheep allows hackers and even a less technically minded person to grab people’s cookies by listing in on open Wi-Fi networks. It has a list of sites that it can recognize, including Dropbox, Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. If someone accesses one of these on an open network, then you will be informed with an icon and then a link allowing you access to that account.According to Butler, “On an open wireless network, cookies are basically shouted through the air, making these attacks extremely easy”. In Firefox, Firesheep opens a sidebar that shows everyone who is connected to a certain unsecured Wi-Fi network. Just with a single click you can connect to any social network using that person’s user name and password. Firesheep is free and requires a wireless card capable of operating in promiscuous mode. Note: We don’t recommend you to do such a thing, but Firesheep proves that how poor security is on these social network sites.
