 While there's still shockingly few details about the launch of the Windows Phone 7 platform, HTC remains the main contributor towards it. Thanks to the spec sheet which was leaked.

Call it the HD3 or the HD7, the new Windows Phone 7, the spec sheet is out and now will have a clear hint about how well HTC has weaponized the Windows Phone 7 device. While without going too deep into the specs list let us say it is almost same as the HD2 with some minor advancement.

The CPU is the same Snapdragon 1 GHz and the display is a 800x480 4.3" display is nothing but the replica of HD2. The HD7 will just be slightly thicker than the HD2. RAM will be 576MB, 512MB for program memory and 64MB for graphics with 8 GB memory which is not expandable. 

All typical features found on high-end Smartphone will find a place in the HD7. Some of them include digital compass, proximity and light sensors, A-GPS, accelerometer. The device will be powered by a 1230mAh battery and will sport a 5MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. It also seems to have a dual-color LED light for system notifications.

Listed in the Spec sheet is the full suite of HTC apps present in HTC Hub. Some of them, worth to be mentioned are bedside clock widget, love me/love me not, parking meter, stocks, photo enhancer etc., The spec sheet also shows the HD7 as having necessary to work on T-Mobile.

Windows phone 7-the Canada

 Bell and Rogers, two of Canada’s largest communications companies will also be supplying devices with WP 7.

It is not only Telus which will be bringing Windows Phone 7 devices to Canada. Rogers and Bell too will be providing devices with the Windows Phone 7 operating system in Canada.

While Rogers will be selling Samsung Focus devices which have already got some good reviews, Bell will be providing LG Quantum in Canada. Telus id said to be offering the HTC 7 Surround and LG Optimus. While the widest range of offers on Windows Phone 7 is for the US, Canada now has a pick of four devices to choose from.

Samsung Focus is the only device with a four-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display. No other device carries this feature. HTC 7 Surround is exclusively available to the United States other than Canada.  The Quantum sports a landscape slider QWERTY keyboard, triband HSPA (850 / 1900 / 2100MHz) apart from the shared features which are present in the other devices too.

The HTC Surround which has Dolby-certified speakers comes with a kickstand so that you can prop it on the table while listening to music. The sound on this device is said to be crystal clear without any disturbances. LG Optimus comes with shortcuts on its Start to LG programs like DLNA streaming Play to and Scan search, their own search client based on pictures taken of barcodes - as well as voice-to-text for Facebook, Twitter and Email.

With such features on the offering, the Canadians will surely have no complaints of any sort.
