Last night, PLDT announced its new service called PLDT TelPad, packaged in an Android Tablet a landline and Broadband DSL service landline.
It is PLDT TelPad and 2.2 Android. Tablet PC Froyo was powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A8. This means that users can download applications and play in the 7-inch tablet. Comes with 2 GB of internal storage, but there is an SD card slot and USB port expand.
The TelPad also carries a front camera 2 megapixels still shots and video conference calls. I think that you can make calls from a Bluetooth headset. Also comes with a dock loading and a HDMI port that can be linked in your TV.
The service starts in 1849 plan that includes a number of fixed telephone and 1Mbps ADSL connection. If you are an existing PLDT myDSL client, you can upgrade to this plan for an additional Php500 per month. Android Tablet comes free with the package.
Another PLDT TelPad plans are 2099 plan 1.5 Mbps (Php2 099 per month), 3095 to 2.5 Mbps (Php3, 095) and plan 4100-3.5 Mbps (Php4, 100).
